All the Shows from KMR Scripts feature our unique Production Packets.  These packets contain lots of helpful material to successfully rehearse and present our shows.

Musical Production Packets Contents

Our Musical Production Packets contain everything you need to produce a KMR Scripts show.

• Actor's Scripts - Enough for each actor required in the script.
• Director's Script - Specially formatted for insertion into director's production notebook.  Contains the script in full-page, double space format.  Also contains production notes from the original production, special notes from the playwright and lots of other helpful information about performing for kids.
• Production Soundtrack on CD* - Contains the performance accompaniment tracks for all the songs in the show.  Each song is presented in 3-5 different keys so you can find the perfect arrangement for your particular singer's voice.  Also provided are vocal tracks of each song so you can hear what the song sounds like.
• Sheet Music* - Vocal lead sheets for your singers.  Each page notates the songs from each corresponding key on the CD.
• Educational Study Guide.  A handy study aid individually developed by the playwright for each show to help tie the show with the classroom.
• Access to the Playwright.  You may call or write Kevin M Reese, the playwright/composer at ANY time for answers to any question or challenge you encounter with your production.  Our job isn't just to provide you with great scripts-- we also do everything we can to help you produce a great show!

*  CD and Sheet Music are rented and must be returned within 14 days of your final performance.  Everything else is yours to keep.

Scripts

Below is a table to show you how many actors scripts are included with each Musical Production Packet.  If you need more actors scripts than listed below for your particular production*, you will need to order them through KMR Scripts at $4.00 each.  No photocopying actor's scripts is allowed.

* Since the number of actors needed for each show is very flexible (much doubling is possible), not every production needs the same number of scripts.  We send you one more script than is usually used by the majority of productions.  If you don't do as much doubling as is usual, you will need to purchase additional copies of the scripts so each actor has his/her own script.  Photocopying scripts is a violation of copyright laws.

Music

1.  Our musical shows may only be presented with our authorized Performance Soundtracks.  They are written, and recorded exclusively by the composer expressly for the purposes of our Production Packets.  The only exceptions to this are Little Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast, for which we have piano scores available as well as Performance Soundtrack CDs.  Piano scores for these two shows are sent ONLY upon request.
2.  The Performance Soundtracks are provided on high quality CDs.  For each show, each song is provided in 3-5 different keys so you may find the best key for your singer's voice.  The only exception to this is Little Red Riding Hood, which has each song in only one key.
3.  Since the music for A Christmas Carol and Buddy, the Magic Snowman is public domain Christmas carols, you have the option of providing your own accompaniment and sheet music instead of ours-- saving you the cost of the Production Packet!  Ask for details.

Production Packet Procedures

1.  Fill out our Performance Application Form from which we'll send you a Contract.
2.  Sign and return your Contract and pay the $150.00 Packet Rental Fee.
3.  Receive your Packet.
4.  Rehearse and present your show.
5.  Pay your performance royalty in full within 7 days of your first performance.
6.  Return CD, Sheet Music and Final Report within 2 weeks of closing perf.
7.  Receive your $50.00 deposit back.
